Description

Exquisite detail – considerably better than most Satsuma censers I have seen.

Light wear throughout – especially the loss of gilding on the finial and handles over the years. I suspect this is from the Meiji period (1868 – 1912) although it could be a bit later (Taisho Period 1912-1926?).

Signed on the underside – see photos.
