Vintage Design
An original Art Nouveau dressing box is available for sale around 1905. A identical copy (without mirror & instead of clothing rod with storage compartments) is also available. The box has 4 ground mirrors, original nickel fittings, floral carvings, a load, a downhill compartment and a clothing store.
The box has now been restored – see Figure 10-16 (black on the outside and mahogany stained on the outside) – the missing hind legs are currently being supplemented.
