I was recently fortunate enough to find a portfolio of original lithographs from the (Indian) Ravi Varma Press, created around 1920. Vibrantly coloured and full of references to Hindu gods and goddesses, they are spectacular and a rare find.

In lovely condition and ready to frame. Rare.

Rare antique chromo lithograph of Souix Indian Chief American Horse. Dates to around 1900-1930 by a famous artist who made prints of Indians. This was the display sign at the general store counter to sell the smaller prints. Very rare to find the large display like this . You might be able to find one of the smaller period prints but not like this. You you like American history this is for you Professional framing. You will be impressed. Please no low ball offers.

Georges-Louis Leclerc, Count of Buffon (1707-1788) was a French naturalist, mathematician, and cosmologist. Buffon published thirty-six quarto volumes of his most well-known work, Histoire Naturelle. Original and delightful engravings from the 1853 edition featuring le geai bleu de l’Amérique du Nord (North American blue jay), le geai commun (Eurasian jay), le rossignol (nightingale), and le rouge-gorge bleu de l’Amérique septentrionale (blue robin of North America), custom framed and matted.
