Vintage Design
Chest of drawers in solid mahogany and cuban mahogany veneer, from the Louis XVI period.
Its top is made of white Carrara marble, slightly veined, with a groove around the edge, which follows the lines of the quarter round legs of this piece of furniture full of history.
The rim, delimited by a half-round brass rod, is composed of a single drawer, despite a front that simulates three. Underneath, this chest of drawers offers two other drawers, arranged in two rows, with an identical depth of 19 cm. All of them are equipped with two drop handles and an Ouvragées entrance, all of them original. They are also equipped with locks in working order, with their keys. The inside of the drawers and the dust covers are made of oak.
The sides of this chest of drawers are made up of two panels of vertical wood.
This piece of furniture is structured by four uprights, quarter round and fluted for those of the front, more sober for those of the back. They are finished by four turned spindle feet, with brass pads. The two front ones have a light wood decoration that adds to the charm of this 250 years old piece of furniture.
This elegant chest of drawers is an essential element to complete a classic and harmonious decoration, and it will be appreciated for its prestige and its unusual proportions.
