Superb and impressive entrance / entryway console consisting of a low 5-drawers cabinet with a marble top, on which is placed an imposing mirror with a carved frame.
In walnut and beech.
Beveled mirror, frame carved with flowers.
High quality gray marble.
Silver bronze handles.
Fluted and tapered legs.
Inscription on the back of the mirror: “M. N.” “8.5.28”.
Art Deco, France, circa 1928.
In the style of Maurice Dufrene’s productions.
In excellent condition, restored: sanded and polished marble, wood treated against xylophages and new wood finish. Mirror in good general condition, some pitting.
