Calming and scenic landscape of thatched dwelling situated on lakefront amongst trees and vegetation…majestic mountains rising in the distance. A lone fisherman sets out for the day’s catch. This hand-painted 4-panel screen is serene and captivating, and changes with the light of the day. The soft gold raw silk backdrop is textured and is framed by a silk brocade trim. The outer wooden black lacquer trim has metal embellishments in a dark oil rubbed bronze with floral detailing and tiny nail heads. Artist signature is displayed in lower right corner.
