A grand scale 18th century Dutch oak Rococo bombé armoire
having a renowned shaped, wavy cornice with typical hand carved mouldings. The top half of the cabinet has two moulded panel doors with lock and key, which open to reveal a large storage space with shelves and slides. Flanked by fluted and carved canted corners. The bottom half of the cabinet has a bombé shape with three graduating long drawers. with a carved apron at the bottom, it stands on its original hand carved ball and claw feet.

Great proportions and excellent patination! Difficult to find examples of this colour, it is much better viewed in real life.
