Rectangular coffee table “LC10” by Le Corbusier / Cassina, dating from the mid-1980s. The glass is original (shows traces of scratches – see photos). Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret exhibited the first version of this table at the 1929 Salon d’Automne in Paris, as part of “the interior equipment of a home”. Originally presented as an office, it was revisited by Perriand in 1984 and relaunched a year later under the name Cassina, with new variants adapted to contemporary needs. Signature along the length of the table (see photo).
