Vintage Design
Very large Louis XV flat desk in rosewood and violet wood marquetry with herringbone curling. A very rich ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronzes on this desk as well as a tray ingot mold. Spandrels frame the mold. A Napoleon III period desk mounted on an oak frame in the pure tradition of Faubourg furniture at the end of the 19th century. We notice a particular care for the quality of the bronzes. A quite rare desk size in this quality. Desk in its original patina. The leather is also original.
