Mid-Century Metal Palm Tree, Britain, 1950s

Handmade artisanal metal palm trees. These unique vintage pieces have a sculptural presence and are wonderful decorative objects. Strands of twirled iron form the trunks which have a raw textural quality, the iron branches are adorned with contrasting steel ‘leaves’. These late Mid Century sculptures are scratch built meaning each palm tree is a truly unique and rare piece.
