Franco Albini ash dining table Model TL2 ‘Cavalletto’ for Poggi, Italy (Very First Edition), Italy 1950s This table is the very first edition (the one in ash) of Franco Albini’s famous desk-table, which has now become legendary. The structure is made of solid wood, the top is made of wood chipboard surrounded by solid wood and counter-plated in ash wood (precisely present, only first examples) It is an iconic work of Italian design and the “poetic rationalism” of the architect and designer Franco Albini.
