Lovely table with works or dressing table in ebony Louis XV – Napoleon III style. It is decorated with gilded and chiselled bronzes, signed on the interior lock “DIEHL – PARIS – 19 rue Michel le Comte”. The tray opens and reveals multiple storage lockers and a mirror. There is also a small drawer below. Original key and locks. This small table is in good condition. Top Top Quality ! Artist – Charles-Guillaume DIEHL (1811-1885), born July 28, 1811 in Steinbach (Länder of Hesse in Germany) and died in 1885 in Chessy (Seine-et-Marne, France), is a cabinetmaker, specialized in the creation of small pieces of furniture. He was naturalized French in 1872.
