Vintage Design
Firm and compact, perfectly cleaned and polished with shellac. The seat, originally woven with pedig, was replaced by a more durable plywood with art nouveau decor. This chair appears in Thonet company catalogs since 1883. It is the first Thonet chair with a cross-section other than a strip. The design was intended for Neo-Renaissance buildings.
