Vintage Design
Produced by Artemide in 1969, the Selene chair is one of the most famous design pieces designed by Vico Magistretti in the world. It is a seat with a strong modernist imprint, extremely light and easy to handle, suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Made of Reglar® plastic material, it is obtained through an injection molding process, and its particular shape allows perfect stackability. Outlined in the typical soft and rounded shapes of the Space Age of the 70s, it is especially characterized by the spiral structure of the legs.
The S shape chosen for the legs allows for structural rigidity while reducing the thickness to just 3 mm
