This bedside table is a fine example of functional and aesthetically pleasing design from the mid-20th century. It is one of the highlights of Hans J. Wegner, one of Denmark’s most important and influential designers. His designs are known far and wide for their clean lines and minimalist design.
This now rare original was made by Ry Møbler in teak, a warm, medium brown color, in the 1960s. The bedside table has a drawer with a small, subtle handle, also made of wood.
