We are delighted to offer for sale this large and collectable vintage metamorphic armchair which converts into Library steps with leather upholstered steps A good looking well made and decorative library armchair which metamorphosizes into a library steps. The chair has the original patinated seat and the steps have leather upholstery which has been upholstered very flat so you have a good even tread. The steps are quite special on this one because they have a brass mounted harp back rest which has a flamed mahogany panel on top, it is by far the most decorative of its type I have seen Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there Armchair dimensions Height:- 87.5cm Width:- 59.5cm Depth:- 60cm Steps dimensions Height:- 73.5cm Width:- 60cm Depth:- 96cm
