Vintage Design
Extraordinary antique bridal cupboard made of pine dating from 1821. This cupboard has a simple design but is beautifully painted in a gray-blue color with floral and religious decorations in the panels. Above the doors the wedding date and initials of the previous owner. This copy is still in very good condition considering its age and can be dismantled. The cupboard has a well-functioning lock with key and is equipped with a shelf and a sturdy oak rod on the inside. You can easily add more shelves if desired. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history. This copy comes from southern Germany (Upper Bayern). 180cm high, 142cm wide, 57cm deep.
