Dated: Meiji period (1868-1912).
This compact tansu features seven drawers. A particularly remarkable aspect of this cabinet is the presence of a hidden secret drawer concealed behind the top-left drawer.
To access this concealed compartment, the top-right drawer needs to be removed, adding an intriguing detail that enhances the cabinet’s uniqueness.
