Together with Ronald Schmitt, Draenert is the most important and highest quality glass table manufacturer in Germany and Europe. Dr. Peter Draenert, opened his workshops in Friedrichshafen in 1968. from the beginning, his goal was to realize modern design by German and German-speaking designers in the Bauhaus successor. The Draenert Studios maintain their own workshops in Immenstaad on Lake Constance.
The Draenert company is represented in many public collections and exhibitions, including the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Applied Arts in Tokyo, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the German Architecture Museum, Frankfurt a. M.
